Tahoe Property Pros provides independent property intelligence, short-term rental planning information, and optional local-service discovery for Lake Tahoe property owners. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you request a Property Snapshot, we may collect your property address, name, email address, optional phone number, permit status, and information you choose to provide in connection with the request.
Our hosting, security, database, email, analytics, and website service providers may also process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, and request logs as part of operating and protecting the website.
How we use information
We use submitted information to identify the relevant Tahoe jurisdiction, prepare and respond to your Property Snapshot request, communicate with you about that request, maintain our records, prevent abuse, improve our services, measure source attribution, and comply with applicable obligations.
Private by default
Your Property Snapshot submission is not automatically shared with a property manager. Tahoe Property Pros does not send your contact information or property details to a manager unless you separately request or explicitly authorize that connection.
We do not sell Property Snapshot submissions to property managers for their independent marketing.
Optional local-service discovery and sponsored placements
If you later choose to explore local property-management or other service options, Tahoe Property Pros may show provider information or give you a direct way to contact a provider. Some provider profiles or placements may be sponsored and will be identified as such.
A sponsored placement does not give the sponsor access to your private Property Snapshot submission. If you explicitly request or authorize an introduction, we may share the information reasonably needed to make that requested connection.
Service providers
We may use service providers for website hosting, database storage, email delivery, security, analytics, and related business operations. Those providers may process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including responding to requests, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting applicable obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask a question about your information or request that we update or delete information you previously submitted, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.
Children
This website is intended for property owners and business users and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date.
